There have been some important updates regarding traffic management due to the Bara Faat procession and the immersion of the Shri Ganesh idol, scheduled from September 16th to 17th. In light of the situation in the Gorakhpur district, traffic restrictions will be in effect from 6:00 p.m. until the conclusion of the procession and idol immersion.

To ensure smooth traffic flow in the metropolitan area, the following diversions and restrictions will be implemented:

1. For Heavy Vehicles:
   • Vehicles traveling from Herbert Bandha towards Lal Diggi and Sahabganj Mandi will be diverted.
   • Heavy vehicles should head to TP Nagar Fruit Mandi and Rustampur, then proceed via Amar Ujala.
   • Vehicles going towards Haata and Alhapur Tiraha should be redirected from TP Nagar to Rustampur Fruit Market and Amar Ujala.
   • Vehicles should proceed to their destination via Padleganj from Durgabari to Alinagar.
2. For Two-Wheelers and Three-Wheelers:
   • Traffic will be diverted from TP Nagar Phal Mandi, with vehicles redirected towards Padleganj.
   • Traffic towards Pandey will be diverted from TP Nagar crossing.
3. Specific Road Restrictions:
   • Four-wheelers and three-wheelers on TP Nagar road will face restrictions from Ghosh Company to Nakhas and Ghosh Company.
   • Heavy vehicles, four-wheelers, and three-wheelers will be banned from Reti Chowk to Aldat Pur Tiraha.
   • Three-wheelers will be banned from the normal taxi stand.
   • Vehicles will be prohibited from Ghantaghar to Normal, from Normal to Barf Khana, and from Humayunpur Chauraha to Tarang Over Bridge.
   • Traffic will also be restricted from Gange Jan Chauraha to Alinagar.
   • Four-wheelers and three-wheelers will be banned towards Bakshipur Clock Tower, with alternative routes through Shri Gorakhnath Temple and Dharamshala.
   • All types of vehicles will be banned from Agrasen Tiraha to Bakshipur Chauraha.
   • Heavy vehicles will be redirected from Vijay Chowk towards Alinagar Charan Lal Chowk.
   • Two-wheelers and three-wheelers will face restrictions through Sahabganj Mandi Khunipur.
   • Vehicles will be banned towards Bakshipur and from Ghasi Katra Mirzapur Lal Diggi to Bakshipur.
   • Three-wheelers will be banned from Lal Diggi to Geeta Press.
   • Heavy vehicles, four-wheelers, and three-wheelers will be prohibited till the square.
   • Vehicles will be banned from Jata Shankar Tiraha towards Alinagar, and Shah from Madina Masjid crossing.
   • Vehicles will be restricted on the road to Maaroof.
